During aespa's concert in Seattle on October 9, Giselle unexpectedly left the stage due to health concerns.
Following her departure, the remaining members of aespa continued the performance without her. SM Entertainment later released a statement regarding Giselle's condition.
The statement revealed that Giselle had experienced cold symptoms earlier in the day and had received medical attention. Although she initially felt better and decided to perform, her condition deteriorated after the opening act.
As a result, it was determined that she would not be able to participate in the rest of the concert, including the Hi-Bye and Send-Off segments. The other members, Karina, Winter, and Ningning, proceeded with the show.
SM Entertainment expressed their apologies to fans and assured them that Giselle would receive the necessary care for a full recovery.
