Netmarble has officially launched the Global Content Alignment server for its popular game, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. This new server, introduced on October 13, 2026, aims to enhance the gaming experience by redesigning progression systems and improving combat mechanics.
Players can now explore the Stormlands and engage with new story content, including the Casterly Rock storyline, where they will encounter both familiar and challenging characters. The latest update, titled 'Trial of the Stormlands Bannermen: Rain and Flame', allows players to ally with one of three bannerman houses: Fell, Connington, or Morrigen.
Additionally, the update introduces personal ranking competitions and open-field exploration activities, where players can seek out a new artifact known as the 'Breath of Balerion'. This artifact is a remnant from the historical Targaryen Conquest, adding a rich layer of lore to the game.
Current players have the option to retain their existing characters on the Western Server or migrate to the new Global Content Alignment server, which offers a redesigned gameplay experience. Netmarble is incentivizing this switch with a reward program based on player progression and purchase history.
With these updates, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad continues to evolve, reflecting Netmarble's strategy for international expansion and its commitment to delivering an engaging gaming experience.
