KATSEYE has announced an update regarding member Sophia, who took a break to focus on her mental health. The group emphasized the importance of wellness in the entertainment industry, recognizing the pressures that artists face.
Sophia's hiatus began in August, during which she stepped back from the European leg of KATSEYE’s 'THE WILDWORLD TOUR'. This decision was made to prioritize her health and well-being, with the full support of her agency.
On October 9, it was confirmed that Sophia will return to group activities starting the first week of January 2027. Although she will not participate in the North American leg of the tour or promotional activities for the rest of this year, fans are eagerly awaiting her comeback.
The announcement expressed gratitude to fans for their understanding and support during Sophia's time away. KATSEYE looks forward to continuing their journey together with her in the new year.
