Hyundai Motor has delivered 11 electric buses to Bali, marking a significant step in sustainable transportation.
Hyundai Motor Co. has recently supplied 11 County electric buses to Bali, Indonesia, introducing the island's first electric public transportation service.
This initiative is part of an official development assistance program, following a successful bid by the Global Green Growth Institute in October 2025. The delivery also signifies Hyundai's ongoing commitment to expanding its electric vehicle offerings in international markets.
The County Electric bus, designed to accommodate 20 passengers, is equipped with a 128-kilowatt-hour battery, enabling a driving range of over 200 kilometers on a single charge. This move follows Hyundai's previous delivery of the same model to Surabaya, Indonesia's second-largest city, in November 2024.
With this latest supply, Hyundai aims to contribute to Bali's eco-friendly transit efforts, aligning with global trends towards sustainable transportation solutions. The introduction of these electric buses is expected to enhance public transport options while reducing carbon emissions on the island.
