Celltrion expands its product lineup in Brazil with three new biosimilars.
Celltrion has officially launched three new biosimilars in Brazil, enhancing its local product offerings to a total of ten. The newly introduced products include Koivolma, an autoimmune treatment, and Stovoclor and Osenvelt, which are aimed at treating bone diseases.
The Brazilian subsidiary of Celltrion began supplying these biosimilars in October, with various formulation options available. Koivolma, a biosimilar of Stelara, is designed to treat conditions such as plaque psoriasis and Crohn's disease, while Stovoclor and Osenvelt offer treatment for bone-related issues.
With these additions, Celltrion aims to leverage its existing market share and distribution networks to increase prescription rates for the new products. The company is also preparing for the launch of an ophthalmic treatment, Aidenzelt, by the end of the year.
A Celltrion official stated, "We will rapidly expand prescriptions for Koivolma and Stovoclor·Osenvelt by drawing on the trust and distribution channels we have built through our existing products." This strategic move reflects Celltrion's commitment to strengthening its presence in the Latin American market.
