Stars of 'Possible Love' Reflect on Historic Venice Win

The stars of 'Possible Love' have expressed their thoughts following the film's historic victory at the Venice International Film Festival. Directed by Lee Chang Dong, the film made headlines by becoming the first Korean movie to win the prestigious Golden Lion award.

Although Jeon Do Yeon, Zo In Sung, Cho Yeo Jeong, and Sul Kyung Gu were unable to attend the closing ceremony due to their commitments at the Toronto International Film Festival, they shared their sentiments through a statement released via Netflix.

Jeon Do Yeon congratulated director Lee, stating, "I hope this award becomes a major driving force for him in his next project." Sul Kyung Gu expressed his pride in being part of the film, saying, "I am extremely moved and sincerely proud just to have been a part of this film."

Zo In Sung highlighted the significance of the award, mentioning, "This is a huge honor. I believe this achievement is thanks to the unwavering support for Korean cinema." Cho Yeo Jeong added her congratulations to Lee, expressing her eagerness to share the film's emotional depth with audiences.

'Possible Love' tells the intertwining stories of two married couples, exploring themes of desire and life’s contrasts. The film is set to premiere in theaters on September 23 and will be available on Netflix starting November 6.
