Celltrion Secures Exclusive U.S. Supply Deals for OMLYCLO and Aptozma

Celltrion has made significant strides in the U.S. healthcare market by securing exclusive supply agreements for its products OMLYCLO and Aptozma. These contracts will enhance the market presence of these biosimilars and improve access for patients through insurer formularies and pharmacies.

The U.S. subsidiary of Celltrion announced on October 26 that it has partnered with a major healthcare corporation to supply OMLYCLO, an allergy treatment, and Aptozma, which is used for autoimmune diseases. The exclusive supply agreement covers OMLYCLO prefilled syringes and all formulations of Aptozma, including intravenous and subcutaneous options.

This agreement allows OMLYCLO and Aptozma to be listed as preferred medications in the corporation's formularies, facilitating insurance reimbursement for patients. The launch of these products in the U.S. market is expected to accelerate their uptake, as they have been chosen over original drugs in this healthcare system.

Kim Bon-joong, CEO of Celltrion's U.S. subsidiary, expressed confidence in the competitiveness of OMLYCLO and Aptozma, stating that their early entry into significant healthcare supply channels demonstrates their market potential. He emphasized the company's goal to convert these supply contracts into increased prescriptions and sales.

In addition to this agreement, Celltrion is in discussions with several large pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) to further expand the coverage of these products. With the potential for additional listings, the company aims to enhance insurance coverage for OMLYCLO and Aptozma across the United States.
