Amorepacific has been named a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree in the Beauty Tech category for its Skinsight electronic skin platform, extending its streak of CES recognition to a seventh straight year.
South Korean cosmetics leader Amorepacific has secured a CES 2026 Innovation Award in the Beauty Tech category for Skinsight, an advanced "electronic skin" platform, the company announced. The honor marks the seventh consecutive year that the beauty group has been recognized at the annual technology showcase.
Skinsight was developed jointly with researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), pairing Amorepacific's skincare expertise with academic research in flexible electronics and biosensing. The platform is designed to read the skin's condition in fine detail, pointing toward more personalized diagnostics and treatment.
The company plans to demonstrate the technology at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where the Consumer Technology Association gathers the global electronics industry each January. The Innovation Awards spotlight products judged outstanding in design and engineering across dozens of categories.
Alongside the electronic skin platform, Amorepacific will present an AI-powered skin analysis feature integrated into Samsung Electronics' AI Beauty Mirror, an example of how the cosmetics maker is weaving artificial intelligence into consumer-facing beauty devices.
The recognition underscores Amorepacific's continued push into "beauty tech," a fast-growing segment where skincare and personal care companies compete on data, sensors and AI rather than formulations alone. Repeated CES wins have become a way for the firm to signal its research ambitions to global audiences.
Amorepacific, listed in Seoul under the code 090430, is one of Korea's largest cosmetics companies and has increasingly framed technology partnerships as central to its long-term strategy. Full details of the Skinsight demonstrations are expected to be shared during CES 2026.
